Renew Microsoft Office/Windows KMS license for FREE manually
By default, KMS license is valid for only 180 days and it will be renewed every 7 days as from the date of activation. However, in some cases, this process can be stuck. The following are some reasons for this problem.
- Your PC is not connected to the internet or the connection is unstable when the license renewal process is called.
- You are using a third-party firewall so the connection to KMS server is denied.
- You are using different versions of Office on your PC. Retail and Volume version on the same PC?

Workarounds
- Make sure your PC is always connected and your internet connection is stable.
- If you are using another firewall, please open port 1688.
- Please do not use Office retail and volume on the same Windows.
How to renew KMS license
Renew Microsoft Office license
Step 1: Open command prompt as administrator.
Step 2: Copy and run the command below. Note: "Office16" is code name of Office 2016. If you are using Office 2013/2010, just replace it with "Office15" and "Office14".
cscript "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /actIf you see an error, try this command.
cscript "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /act
Done!
Renew Microsoft Windows license
Step 1: Open command prompt as administrator.
Step 2: Execute this command.
cscript slmgr.vbs /atoYour license is renewed successfully!

I work perfect in Windows 7 SP1 Pro command method.
And the scripts for office 2019 too, are still functional.

I bought a ASUS Zenbook 13 laptop about half and a month earlier.It had Microsoft office 365 installed in it but after one month it started asking for activation. How can i activate Microsoft office 365 without buying the liscense key. I went through some of your posts and tried to apply some method( copying some code and then saving the file and running it as an administrator) but it didn’t work as my command prompt shows the message that The connection to my KMS server failed! Trying to connect to another one..Sorry! Your version is not supported.

Earlier I had installed ms office 2019 with activation through KMS.I have unstalled MS Office 2019.I followed all the steps but could not able to remove trail as when I opened excel there mentioned that the office is activated but I could not see MS Office 365.I used your KMS cmd code and I found mentioning office 2019 and below office 2016.Pls refer the screenshot at link>> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y27kP74wbKTsJIDGdoeJxMwGwaITFvXy/view?usp=sharing
Pls let me know is it correctly installed or not.As new function of ms excel which was introduced in during end of 2018 could not able to see.

If you have first install Office 365, it will automatic upgrade to Office 2016.
If you use Office 365 KMS Activation method to activate with windows 10, It sill can upgrade to Office 2019 and future Office Version Upgrade.
Remember, every time fail activation of Office 365, you need to remove it before reinstall a new copy of Office 365.
In the same PC, don’t install Office 365 with other standalone Office 2016 or Office 2019, it will come up all sort of error after activation.
So the best bet is in Control Panel, uninstall all Office program in your PC.
Restart PC, Control panel check there is no more Office Program in your PC.
Install Office 365 at the same time will automatic install Office 2106. Use the Office 365 batch file method to activate first. Then You can still upgrade to office 2019 .

The screenshot is Office 365 base upgrade to Office 2016 first, and upgrade to Office 2019.
If you use Office 365 batch file to activate in the beginning. No need to do any more activation.
Can keep on upgrade to future Office version and get future new feature as well.

For Office installation. Every time fail, must first uninstall before reinstall.
If Your PC have more than a copy of Office, will come up error.
